Tuesday 7th February 2012 is Safer Internet Day and this year it will be celebrated in more than 70 countries across the world.
Safer Internet Day (SID) is organised by the Insafe network each February to promote safe and more responsible use of internet and mobile phone technologies, especially amongst children and young people.
The theme for 2012 is connecting generations and the slogan is Discover the Internet together…safely! Around the date of the event a wide array of activities will take place across Europe and the world.
