During the Christmas holidays visitors can explore the exhibitions Yeats: the life and works of William Butler Yeats and the Library’s new exhibition Strangers to Citizens: the Irish in Europe 1600 – 1800. Guided tours are available for both exhibitions and families can avail of our exhibition trail guide for the Yeats exhibition.

The exhibitions are open at the following dates and times:

Thursday 27 December – Friday 28 December: 9:30 – 4.45pm

Saturday 29 December: 9.30 – 12.45pm

Monday 31 December: 9.30 – 4.45pm
Guided tours of the Yeats exhibition will take place at 3.30pm each week day and at 11.00am on Saturday 29 December. A guided tour of the Library’s new exhibition Strangers to Citizens will take place on Monday 31 December at 2.30pm. Families can also follow the My Yeats family trail of the Yeats exhibition which has been especially designed to help children aged 7+ and their families to explore this acclaimed exhibition.
