The Health Sciences Libraries Group will be hosting their annual conference in the Hodson Bay Hotel, Athlone, Co Westmeath on the 20th and 21st of Feburary 2008. The theme of the conference is “Quality and Innovation: Creating Opportunities” and will focus on the role of Health Science librarians in contributing to the quality agenda that is so important in today’s health service.
Day one of the conference will focus on the quality agenda and its relevance for Health Sciences Librarians. We are delighted to announce that the European Premiere of “The Hollywood Librarian: A Look at Librarians Through Film” will take place on day two of the conference. “The Hollywood Librarian” is a film ABOUT librarians directed BY a librarian and Director Ann Seidl, who will also be in attendance.
