The Library and information services of the Dublin Dental School and Hospital provide critical support to the School and Hospital’s Mission Statement by providing Support Service to:-
• Teaching and Education
• Treatment and Patient Care
• Research
for undergraduate, post graduate and continuing development and education students. The Dublin Dental School and Hospital are looking to recruit the position of Librarian.
The Librarian is responsible for the implementation of the School and Hospital’s development and strategic plan for future enhancements of the Library’s services and facilities in line with the strategic focus of Knowledge and Information Management through the integration of information and communication technology. The Librarian is required to provide leadership, motivation and direction to the Library team, ensuring a high level of staff satisfaction and performance enabling the achievement of the Library’s goals and objectives. Candidates will need a professional third level qualification in Librarianship and strong knowledge of librarianship at senior level with at least 4 years experience.
Grade VI salary scale (€45,378 – €55,855 as at June 01 2007)
