ASSISTANT LIBRARIAN (Part-time)
The Jesuit Library, serving the needs of the Milltown Institute of Theology and Philosophy, wishes to appoint a suitably qualified assistant librarian. The successful candidate will carry out the full range of library duties including cataloguing and classification.
Applicants should have:
· a recognised professional qualification in librarianship
· an interest in working in an academic environment
· good interpersonal and team-working skills
· good I.T. skills
A knowledge of one or more European languages would be an advantage.
This is a fixed-term contract for one year, starting in late August 2008.
This is a part-time position – 17.5 hours per week.
