Object Lessons: Yeats in Focus

National Library of Ireland logoObject Lessons: Yeats in Focus is a new lecture series at the National Library of Ireland. Each month an object from the exhibition Yeats: the life and works of William Butler Yeats is selected for discussion.
Venue: National Library of Ireland, Kildare St, Dublin 2.
Admission is free, no booking is required.
Wednesday 14 October at 7pm
Lecture: Yeats and the occult, Professor Margaret Mills Harper, Georgia State University.
Object of the Month: Automatic Writing notebook.
Tuesday, 10 November at 7pm.
Lecture: Maud Gonne, Dr Margaret Ward
Object of the Month: Mammoth portrait of Maud Gonne by Alfred Werner
Tuesday, 8 December
Lecture: Yeats, music and the psaltery, Professor Harry White MRIA, University College Dublin.
Object of the Month: The Psaltery.
