Libraries around the country are celebrating the most Christmassy book of them all, Charles Dickens’s A Christmas Carol. Linking up with Disney whose new film version, featuring Jim Carrey, is in cinemas now, 26 libraries are running dramatisations, readings and competitions with a top prize of a private screening of the film for a lucky winner and his/her class. Bah humbug indeed!
