Eight novels have been shortlisted for the 2010 International IMPAC Dublin Literary Award, including Joseph O’Neill’s Netherland.
The Irish author’s book is up against three works in translation, as well as two first novels and an Orange prizewiiner.
The winner will be announced on 17th June.
