Bord Gáis Energy is celebrating reaching one million customers by setting up a Community Energy Fund, with a total of €100,000 in energy grants available to communities throughout Ireland.
In order to reach as many people as possible Bord Gáis Energy has enlisted the help of the public library network to make information and application forms available to the public.
Forms and information packs have been sent out to each branch and the availability of the forms in the library will be promoted in radio advertising on 23 local radio stations, broadcast at peak times between the news and sports bulletins. The advertising campaign begins on 10th May. Any libraries which haven’t received the forms should contact energyfund@bordgais.ie or bteeling@librarycouncil.ie.
