Artemis Fowl has been voted the Puffin of Puffins in a UK poll celebrating the 70th anniversary of Puffin Modern Classics.
Eoin Colfer’s tale of the twelve year-old criminal mastermind took 68% of the votes and won out over six other shortlisted title, including Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Charlotte’s Web.
The short-list of seven books included on title from each decade of Puffin’s 70 years.
