Ernst & Young have a job vacancy for an Information Officer to assist the Tax Services line for a 10-month period starting October 2010.
The knowledge services group in Ernst & Young provides knowledge management services and a research and current awareness service to an internal user population to over 1,000 audit, tax, corporate finance and support professionals. Other responsibilities include deployment and support for desktop electronic resources, support for the company’s intranet, and managing the corporate library.
Tasks to include:
- General business research
- Dealing with queries on using desktop information tools
- Current awareness services
- General tax library duties
- Other tasks as directed by Manager
Essential Requirements:
- Academic business qualification and/or library qualification
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Good knowledge of information technology
- Preferred Requirements:
- Training delivery experience
- Previous knowledge of library or research work, especially in a business environment
- Web development experience
Salary will be commensurate with experience.
