Libraries get the thumbs Up from MS READaTHON

This week the MS READaTHON team gave some shout-outs of gratitude to their library friends for all of their work in encouraging youngsters all over Ireland….

“Every year librarians up and down the country register with us to promote the MS READaTHON in their branch. Libraries play a huge part in the MS READaTHON every year and we are delighted that they continually take part. Each year we can say for certain that a high number of entries come in to us because of children seeing the displays in libraries so we want to say THANK YOU for that!

This week we want to give some shout-outs of gratitude to our library friends for all of their work in encouraging youngsters all over Ireland. And it’s not just because of the MS READaTHON; every day of the year libraries try to engage with young people and get them involved in reading by holding events all throughout the year. At the moment countless librarians have organised countless events in countless libraries to celebrate the Children’s Book Festival so look out for some in your area. We want to show our appreciation for all of the hard work you all do so this week is for you libraries and librarians… THANK YOU!”
