Book Clubs

Book clubs and reading groups are growing in popularity across Ireland. They are a great way to get together as a group and talk about your shared passion for books and reading. Here’s a list of Adult Book Clubs running in public libraries around the country. Where possible the contact details and the number of members in each club have been listed. The information was provided through a survey of Irish libraries, conducted and compiled by Frances O’Gorman, Clare County Libraries in 2006. This is as complete a listing as possible but some details may have changed and new clubs may have formed, since the survey was carried out.
