			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p></p><p><img class="alignright" title="logo" src="http://www.ucd.ie/cscb/main_pages/education/images/RDS_logo.jpg" alt="" width="175" height="135" />The RDS Library has approximately 100,000 books and approximately 100,000 serials in 1,500 titles.  We are seeking a qualified Librarian to join the cataloguing team in cataloguing various items such as monographs, journals and images.  Reporting to the Foundation Director, main responsibilities include:<span id="more-10641"></span></p>
<ul>
<li>Creating original catalogue      records for uncatalogued and new items and checking items already      catalogued;</li>
<li>Adding Library of Congress      Subject Headings to all records;</li>
<li>Assisting in the      administration of the Cataloguing Procedures Manual;</li>
<li>Involvement in RDS events as      directed by the Foundation Director such as the Annual Dublin Horse Show.</li>
</ul>
<p>The ideal candidate will be an organised, adaptable, proactive individual who enjoys working as part of a close knit team but has the proven ability to work independently. The individual will have excellent attention to detail and proficient IT skills in Microsoft Office.</p>

<p><strong>FOUNDATION ADMINISTRATOR </strong><br />
This person will provide full administrative support to the Foundation team for events in the areas of agriculture, science, arts and industry.<br />
Reporting to the Foundation and Membership Development Manager, main responsibilities include:</p>
<ul>
<li> Assisting the team      before, during and after Foundation events.  This will include      mail-outs, handling telephone enquiries, updating databases, online event      bookings, administering purchase order numbers;</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Providing administrative      support for various event promotional materials such as brochures,      advertisements to include proof-reading, assisting with design and      liaising with printers;</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Assisting with website and      social media content management;</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Providing operational      support for Committee Meetings such as meeting room preparation and      secretarial support to Foundation meetings such as minute taking;</li>
</ul>
<p>The ideal candidate will be a people orientated, confident, proactive individual with a proven ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines As well as having excellent organisational and administrative skills, the individual will have meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure.</p>

<p><strong>ADMINISTRATIVE EXECUTIVE</strong><br />
This individual will provide secretarial support to the Registrar in the administration of the Board of Management, Council, Foundation Board and Committees.<br />
Responsibilities will include:</p>
<ul>
<li>Assist in the preparation of      meetings which will include producing meeting packs, room preparation,      catering etc.;</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Attend meetings, minute      taking and undertake any other post meeting administration as directed by      the Registrar;</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li> Assist with the Annual      Election Process;</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Provide support with the RDS      President’s hospitality arrangements at the annual Dublin Horse Show and      co-ordinate other celebratory occasions as directed;</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Support the Registrar in      reviewing the Society’s By-Laws and other materials such as organisational      manuals and corporate governance documents.</li>
</ul>
<p>The ideal candidate will be a confident, motivated individual with a proven ability to prioritise a demanding workload with meticulous attention to detail.  He/she will have excellent organisational and proof reading skills.   The individual will be a people orientated, tactful and diplomatic person who knows how and when to be discreet.</p>

As an integral member of the Commercial team, this Sales role will contribute to the development and growth of new accounts in the Irish Corporate Market and existing business and revenue for the RDS.</p>
<p>Reporting to the Commercial Director, main responsibilities include:</p>
<ul>
<li>Achievement of sales revenue      and targets for new accounts in the Irish Corporate Market and existing      accounts;</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Client Account Management      encompassing site visits, preparation of quotations and acting as their      key point of contact in the RDS;</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Sales administration;</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Annual Dublin Horse Show      Ladies Day and Sponsor Liaison.</li>
</ul>
<p>The ideal candidate will be a confident, proactive individual with the proven ability to achieve revenue targets and work well under pressure.  As well as having excellent negotiation and relationship building skills, the person will possess strong organisational and administrative skills with good attention to detail.</p>
<p>IT proficient, the individual will have at least two years B2B sales experience preferably within the hospitality/entertainment/events sector supported by a relevant third level qualification.
