Constant Readers on the March

ConstantCork City Libraries’ Year of the Constant Reader is a year-long celebration with a focus on reading in all its variety. Each month will have a different theme. Events for March include:
March 6-8th: Constant Readers on Tour – Cork City Libraries will take a busload of book club members to the Ennis Book Club Festival
March 9th: Reading the Diaspora with Joseph O’Neill
March 14th: Big Book Swap: exchange books you no longer need for others you haven’t read yet; foyer of Central Library, all day
March 14, 16: St Patrick’s Special: Capt O’Neill Tunes: the Cork Connection
March 24th: Reading the Diaspora with Louis de Paor
All month
Readers’ Choice: We ask readers to nominate their 10 favourite Irish novels of the past 10 years
One Shandon, One Book: Pupils in 6 schools in the Shandon area read Michael Smith’s Ice Man , the life of Antarctic explorer Tom Crean.
