The National Parent’s Council Primary are holding their Primary Education Conference at The National College of Ireland, Mayor Street, Dublin 1, on Saturday 12th June 2010. The theme of the conference is Once upon a time…Supporting your child’s literacy journey.
The Tánaiste Mary Coughlan, Minister for Education and Skills, will attend the conference as guest speaker.
Papers will be presented by: Mr. Neill Griffiths on: “So you want to Read a Story?”;
Dr. Therese McPhillips PhD: Supporting the Development of Reading Skills in Primary School;
Ms. Sarah Jane Flynn: Presentation and workshop on “Paired Reading” an enjoyable and easy way to spend time with your child and develop their reading.
