Writers in Libraries Scheme focuses on Teenagers

by dfagan on 4 October, 2010

The Writers in Libraries scheme will provide funding for imaginative literary events with a focus on the needs and interests of teenagers, in libraries across the country.

Established in 1985 by the Arts Council and  officially relaunched last week by Derek Landy in the new Rush’s Library, the Scheme is co-funded by the Arts Council and the Library Council, and is managed and administered by Poetry Ireland.

Full information on the Scheme, closing dates and application forms are available from Poetry Ireland.
